Terms & Conditions Eligibility
The “Haleon x Watsons Take Care Program” ("Program") is organized by Haleon Malaysia Sdn Bhd (formerly known as GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Sdn Bhd) ("Organizer").
Participation in the Program is subject to these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) set out herein. The Organizer may at any time at its sole and absolute discretion, without notice or assigning any reason whatsoever: (a) substitute, withdraw, add to or alter any of the prizes; (b) suspend, withdraw or terminate the Program; or (c) delete, vary, supplement, amend or modify these T&Cs in such manner as the Organizer deems fit, including without limitation, the eligibility of participants, the bases and methods of identification of any winner(s) and any dates in connection with the Program and the Redemption Period.
This Program is open to all residents of Malaysia above 18 years of age (as at 1st October 2024) except the employees of the Organizer, its third party agents and their immediate families, affiliates and/or related companies, distributors and advertising agencies.
By participating in this Program, you confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements and you have read, understood, accepted, and agreed to the T&Cs set out herein. The T&Cs constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Organizer.
Definitions
“Participating Store(s)” means selected Watsons Personal Care Sdn Bhd stores and Watsons Online shop (www.watsons.com.my) that the Organizer may in its sole discretion determine from time to time.
“Participating Products” means all Haleon products except Flixonase Aqueous Nasal Spray and Voltaren 12 Hours Emulgel 2% Gel
“Haleon Care Pack” means selected gifts that the Organizer may in its sole discretion determine from time to time.
“Ringgit” or “RM” means Ringgit Malaysia.
Redemption Period
This Program will run in the following periods or upon full redemption of Haleon Care Pack awarded under this Program, whichever is the earlier:
West Malaysia: | 00:00 on 3rd October 2024 to 23:59 on 28th October 2024 |
East Malaysia: | 00:00 on 10th October 2024 to 23:59 on 4th November 2024 |
(collectively referred to as the “Redemption Period”)
During the Redemption Period, any purchaser who purchased any Participating Products from any Participating Stores may be entitled to redeem a free unit of Haleon Care Pack. Each purchaser is only entitled to redeem a maximum of one (1) unit of Haleon Care Pack, subject to the T&Cs set out herein.
Entries received outside the Redemption Period are automatically disqualified.
How to Redeem
8. Mechanics of Program:
To participate in the Program, the purchasers are required to:
- a. For in-store purchase:
i. During the Redemption Period, purchase any Participating Products at any value from the Participating Stores in a single Proof of Purchase (“POP”).
ii. POP is a valid original receipt clearly indicating the participating store name, date of purchase, prices and details of the Products purchased.
iii. The purchasers must show the valid POP to the Participating Stores’ on-duty pharmacist(s) to redeem one (1) unit of free Haleon Care Pack. The redemption must be carried out on the same day as the date of POP.
- b. For online purchase:
i. During the Redemption Period, purchase any Participating Products at any value from the Participating Stores.
ii. A successful purchase will entitle the purchaser to one (1) unit of free Haleon Care Pack.
iii. The free gift will be added into the cart during check out and will be delivered together with the order.
9. The free gifts are not transferable or exchangeable for other products.
Responsibilities & Rights
By participating in this Program, the purchasers have accepted these T&Cs including any amendments, additions, replacements, variations and modifications thereto, and agree to be bound by these T&Cs. Non- compliance with or breach of any of these T&Cs may disqualify a purchaser at any stage of the Program, and any prizes won may be forfeited, withheld, withdrawn or reclaimed at the Organizer’s sole and absolute discretion. The decision of the Organizer is final and not subject to any appeal.
By participating in this Program, the purchasers consent and give permission to the Organizer and/or its third party agents to process, disclose, reveal or divulge the purchasers’ personal data for verification and redemption purposes, and in any manner which the Organizer may deem fit for publicity purposes.
The Organizer reserves the right to replace the Haleon Care Pack with that of similar value at any time at their absolute discretion without prior notice.
Purchasers will assume full liability in case of any injury, loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), claim, or accident including property damage and loss of life resulting from participation in the Program and/or use of their prizes.
Disqualification
The Organizer will not entertain any redemption based on multiple submissions using the same POP, handwritten receipts, or any receipts without legible information on the name of the Participating Store, date of purchase, purchase price and quantity, receipt number and description of the Participating Products.
The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify and/or exclude purchasers and/or revoke the prize if:
the purchaser is ineligible or does not meet any of the eligibility criteria set out in the above; or
the purchaser breaches these T&Cs or other rules and regulations of the Program or violated any applicable laws or regulations; or
in the Organizer’s sole determination, the purchaser is found or suspected to have undermined or attempted to undermine the operation of the Program by fraud, cheating or deception.
The Organizer reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual which it believes has undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities that may be harmful to the Program.
Liabilities and Responsibilities
The Organizer, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and its third party agents as well as all others associated with the development and execution of the Program (“Released Parties”) assume no responsibility and shall not be held liable for any accident, harm, damage, losses (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or charges, injuries, death, unforeseen circumstance, and any inconvenience or any other liabilities of any nature whatsoever arising through participation of this Program or in connection with the usage or possession of any prize by anyone, nor for any charges in dates or in times or cancellations which may prevent the selected winner(s) from taking the original prize offered or any part of the prize, or for lost or stolen prizes (together, “the Claims”).
The purchasers waive and release the Organizer and the Released Parties from and against any and all liability with respect to the Claims except where prohibited or limited by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law).
Privacy Notice
The Organizer or its Agency collect, store, use and process your personal information, specifically your handphone number and POP, to enable you to enter this Program and for related administration purposes. By participating in the Program, you confirm that you have read the Haleon Privacy Notice, and agree to the collection, storage, use and processing of your personal information for the purposes set out in these T&Cs and in accordance with Haleon Privacy Policy.
Without prejudice to these T&Cs, all purchasers in the Program expressly and irrevocably permit and authorise the Organizer to disclose, reveal and divulge information regarding their personal information to the parties involved in organising, promoting and conducting the Program. By participating in the Program, the purchasers acknowledge that they are deemed to have agreed and accepted the Organizer's data protection and privacy policy with regards to the collection, processing, use, storing, and disclosure of the personal data set out in these T&Cs.

Trademarks
Trademarks are owned by or licensed to the Haleon group of companies. Any other trademarks, graphic symbols, logos, copyright or intellectual property contained in any materials used in connection with this Contest, in particular that relating to the prizes, are the property of their respective owners. The Organizer and its agents are not affiliated with, or endorsed or sponsored by, such owners and their relevant affiliates.
Miscellaneous
Governing Law. These T&Cs shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and the purchasers irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Waiver. The failure of the Organizer to enforce any right or provision in the T&C shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by the Organizer in writing.
