Terms & Conditions

This Giveaway is organized by T.H. Alliance Connect Sdn. Bhd (THAC). (“Organiser”). The Giveaway is governed by the terms and conditions (including any amendments made thereto by THAC from time to time) herein contained (“Terms and Conditions”). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before you enter the “#MyBintisBuddy BIG Travelling Giveaway”. By entering, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please refrain from participating in this giveaway.

Giveaway Period

1. This “#MyBintisBuddy BIG Travel Giveaway” giveaway period will run from 1 September 2019 and ends on 31 October 2019, at 11.59 PM.

2. Winners will be announced on 25 November 2019 on Binti’s Malaysia Facebook Page, at 10:00AM.

Eligibility

2. This giveaway is open to all Malaysian citizens residing in Malaysia aged 15 and above (as at the date of participation in this giveaway) holding valid Malaysian National Registration Identity Card only (“Participants”).

3. The following group of persons shall not be eligible to participate in the giveaway: Employees of the Organiser, T.H. Alliance Connect Sdn. Bhd., AirAsia Berhad and Watsons Malaysia including its affiliated and related companies and their immediate family members (children, parents, brothers and sisters, including spouses); and/or representatives, employees, servants and/or agents of advertising and/or promotion service providers of Organiser including its affiliated and related

companies, and their immediate family members (children, parents, brothers and sisters including spouses).

Mechanics

4. Participants are required to click into the Binti’s Malaysia Facebook page and look for the “#MyBintisBuddy BIG Travel Giveaway” note to read and understand the Giveaway mechanics and Terms & Conditions provided.

(a) Step 1 – Buy & Snap

Purchase any Binti’s product from participating Watsons stores. Upload a photo of you & your best buddy together with Binti’s product on your Instagram account. Make sure your account is set to public until 31 October 2019.

(b)Step 2 – Caption & Hashtag

Tell us who is your best Binti’s buddy and why you wish to travel together with your buddy! Remember to Hashtag #MyBintisBuddy #OnlyAtWatsons #BintisGoesBIG

(c)Step 3 – Whatsapp Your Details & Receipt

WhatsApp your details and a picture of your Watsons receipt to our Whatsapp Business account 014-977 0498.

50 lucky participants who have COMPLETED all requirements CORRECTLY during the specified qualifying giveaway period, will be chosen based on the creativity in the entry photo and caption, as judged by the Organizer to win the specified prize(s) on the “#MyBintisBuddy BIG Travel Giveaway” note. Selected 50 winners will each receive 10,000 BIG points into their BIG accounts to redeem free or partially subsidized AirAsia flight tickets to travel to anywhere in Malaysia or around the world with their buddies. Winners can use the points to redeem flights on airasiabig.com

or pay (big points can be use to offset cost of flights) for bookings on airasia.com.

Judging

Winners will be selected based on the creativity in the entry photo and caption, as judged by the Organiser. All decisions by the Organiser are final.

Judging will be conducted from 1 – 18 November 2019 to select a combined total of fifty (50) winners from among all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.

Disqualification

5. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify and/or exclude Participants and/or revoke the Prize if: -

(a) the Participant is ineligible or does not meet any of the eligibility criteria set out in the above; or

(b) the Participant does not provide the required details upon receiving the request/notification from the Organiser; or

(c) the Participant breaches the Terms and Conditions or other rules and regulations of the giveaway or violated any applicable laws or regulations; or

(d) in the Organiser’s sole determination, it believes that the Participant has attempted to undermine the operation of the giveaway by fraud, cheating or deception; or

(e) Winners cannot be contacted after two attempts within reasonable intervals to contact via Facebook private message by the organiser; or

(f) the Participant whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate by the Organiser.

6. In the event the disqualification take place after the announcement of winners, there will be no selection of replacement of the disqualified winner.

7. In the event of a disqualification after the Prize has been awarded, the Organiser reserves the right to demand for the return of the Prize or payment of its equivalent value from the disqualified Participant.

Winner Selection Process

8. Fifty (50) winners who have COMPLETED all requirements CORRECTLY will be shortlisted for judging by the Organiser. Entries will be judged based on the originality and creativity in the entry photo and caption.

9. Multiple entries are accepted but each participant can only win one (1) prize. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

10. Any entry or portion thereof that is, in the Organiser's sole discretion, obscene, profane, lewd, defamatory or violates any proprietary right of any person living or deceased (including but not limited to rights of privacy or publicity or portrayal in a false light) or entity, sexual in nature, or is otherwise objectionable, will disqualify the entry as determined in Organiser's sole discretion. Entry must be in keeping with Organiser's image and may not be offensive, as determined by Organiser in its sole discretion. All entries become the sole property of the Organiser and will not be returned.

Winner Notification & Prize Redemption

11. The winners will be announced via Binti’s Malaysia Facebook page and winner must provide a postal address and phone numbers to redeem their prize. If a winner does not respond to Binti’s Malaysia Facebook page within 3 daysof being notified by Binti’s Malaysia, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Binti’s Malaysia shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above

(and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 3 days or else they will also forfeit their prize).

12. Participant’s responsibility to ensure their postal address and phone numbers provided are current and updated with Binti’s Malaysia in the event of any changes being made to the same by the Shortlisted Participants. Further and for the avoidance of any doubt, Binti’s Malaysia shall not be liable for any Telco charges, roaming or phone charges which is to be borne by the Shortlisted Participants, whether in or outside Malaysia as a result of Binti’s Malaysia contacting the Shortlisted Participants. Binti’s Malaysia reserves the right to record these telephone conversations.

13. Winners must abide by all laws and regulation currently in place and the terms and conditions and terms of usage of redemption applicable to the Prizes (including expiry or validity period, if any).

14. Prize(s) are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for case, credit or kind, whether in part or in full.

Privacy Notice

15. Binti’s Malaysia reserve the right to publish or display the name, picture and city of residence of the eligible Participants who won the prize(s) from this Giveaway for advertising and publicity purposes in any manner it deems appropriate. By participating in this Giveaway, the Winners hereby consent to and agree that Binti’s Malaysia shall be at liberty to publish their names, pictures and city of residence without compensation for advertising and publicity purpose. Non-compliance may result in an alternative winner being chosen.

General Terms and Conditions

16. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions contained herein, where necessary for legal, technical or commercial reasons and any such amendments shall be effective upon posting on the Binti’s Malaysia’s Facebook page.

17. For avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension of this Giveaway by the Organiser shall not entitle the Participants(s) to any claim or compensation against the Organiser for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Participants(s) as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.

18. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to this Giveaway, including but not limited to the eligibility to participate, the selection of the Participants for this Giveaway, shall be final and binding. No further correspondence, appeals, protests or attempts to dispute the same shall be entertained.

19. This Giveaway is not organised by or associated with Facebook. All Participants, however, agree to comply with all rules and regulations as may be imposed by Facebook in respect of any posting thereon.

20. Information provided by Participants will only be used for the fulfilment of this Giveaway and is provided for the Organiser only, not to Facebook.

21. The terms and condition herein shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
