Contest Terms and Conditions:

Organizer and Contest

1. This Watsons Sustainability Contest ("Contest") will be governed by the terms and conditions herein, and participants agree that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and will be bound by them.
2. This Contest is organized by JNTL (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., with its business office at Level 9, Spaces Menara UAC, 12, Jalan PJU 7/5, Mutiara Damansara, 47800 Petaling Jaya, Selangor ("Organizer").
3. This Contest is valid in Watsons stores in West Malaysia and East Malaysia, and Watsons online (watsons.com.my).

Eligibility

1. This Contest is open to all individual legal residents of Malaysia with a valid MyKad aged 18 years and above as at the start of the Contest Period, except for employees of the Organizer and their immediate family members, their affiliated companies, business partners, suppliers/distributors, promotion/advertising/public relations agencies and other parties involved in this Contest.

Contest Period

1. This Contest will run from 00:00 on 6^th August 2024 to 23:59:59 on 4^th September 2024 (Malaysian Time Zone) ("Contest Period").
2. Entries received before or after the Contest Period will not be accepted.

How to Participate

1. Mechanics of Contest:

To participate in the Contest, participants are required to:

1. 1. Purchase any of the participating brands (Aveeno Baby, Aveeno, Bactidol, Carefree, Clean & Clear, Johnson’s, Listerine, Neutrogena, O.B., Ogx) worth RM35 and above in a single proof of purchase/ receipt (“POP”) during the Contest Period from any Watsons stores or Watsons online.
   2. A Proof of Purchase is a valid printed original receipt dated within the Contest Period with a clear indication showing outlet’s name, purchase amount and details of products purchased (“POP”). The products purchased must include that of only from the participating brand of products. Use of photocopies or other non-original copies of receipts will be rejected, and the entry will be disqualified.
   3. Retain original POP (must be dated within the Contest Period) throughout the Contest Period.
   4. Each qualified POP will be given a serial number and counted as ONE (1) entry.

   8. Winners will be contacted to provide POP and personal details (Full name as per MyKad, Telephone/Mobile Contact, Address and Email). All personal details submitted must be accurate and complete. Any inaccurate or incomplete information will result in disqualification from this Contest and/or forfeiture of prizes.
   1. Winners will receive prizes via courier after all necessary verification from the Organizer is completed.

2. The Organizer and authorized agents are not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay, failure in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, the website, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, system, apparatus, software, failure of e-mail or receipt of entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet and/or telecommunication services.

Prizes & Winners Selection Process

1. The prizes of the Contest are stipulated below:

Grand Prize x 5 winners: Uniqlo Gift Card worth RM1,000 each Special Prize x 20 winners: Montigo Set worth RRP RM265 each

2. The colour option for the Montigo Set will be selected at random and subject to availability. The visual is for illustration purpose only.

3. Winners with the correct answer and meets the minimum purchase requirement will be selected as the winners and the selected winners must not have won any previous contest by JNTL (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in the last 180 days.

4. Winners for the Special Prize and Grand Prize will be selected after 4 September 2024, 23:59PM (Malaysian Time Zone).

5. After the end of the Contest Period, the Organizer and/or the authorized agents shall contact the winners based on the contact number of WhatsApp submission to enter this Contest.

6. The winner(s) will be determined based on the serialized number of Qualified Entries received during the Contest Period (e.g., 1,000 serial numbers) and dividing with number of allocated prizes. The rounding formula will be performed where the decimal value arises the number will be rounded down to the nearest single digit number.
   1. Grand Prize:

For example, 1,000 ÷ 5 = 200. The Prize winner is the 200^th serial number entry and subsequent serial numbers with the multiplication of 200, for a total of 5 winners.

Participants who did not win any Grand Prizes will be automatically enrolled for the Special Prize.

1. 2. Special Prize:

After deducting the Grand Prize winners, 1,000 – 5 = 995 serial numbers left. Therefore, for Grand Prize it will be 995 ÷ 20 = 49.75. The Prize winner is the 49^th serial number entry and subsequent serial numbers with the multiplication of 49, for a total of 20 winners.

7. Each participant can only win one prize throughout the Contest Period.

8. The Organizer shall reserve the right at its absolute discretion to review and vary the Winners’ selection process contained herein at any time without prior notice. The Organizer’s decision is final. The Organizer reserves the right to make the final selection of Winner(s) and no correspondences will be entertained on the selection of this Contest Winner(s).

9. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable in any other forms subject to such terms and conditions which Organizer may in its sole discretion impose. The Organizer may in its sole discretion exchange or substitute the Prizes to another of equivalent or similar value at any time without prior notice.

10. The Organizer retains sole discretion to withhold prizes without liability if in its view a winner is ineligible, disqualified, the entry is invalid, or a winner does not meet the necessary requirements as set out in these terms and conditions.

11. In the event that the winner could not be contacted via phone call or WhatsApp message within a reasonable timeframe after three (3) attempts, the Organizer reserves the right to forfeit the prize against such winner and/or select another winner.

12. Winners must abide by the terms and conditions of the party[ies] arranging and/or providing for all the Prizes and the terms and conditions attached to all the Prizes, if any. All unclaimed Prizes will be forfeited.

Disqualification

1. All entries received before or after the Contest Period shall automatically be disqualified.
2. Contest entries will be disqualified for multiple submissions using the same receipt number.
3. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify and/or exclude Participants and/or revoke the Prize if:
   1. the Participant is ineligible or does not meet any of the eligibility criteria set out in the above; or
   2. the Participant does       not    provide the      required    details upon      receiving    the request/notification from the Organizer; or

1. 3. the Participant breaches the Terms and Conditions or other rules and regulations of the Contest or violated any applicable laws or regulations; or
   4. in the Organizer’s sole determination, it believes that the Participant has attempted to

undermine the operation of the Contest by fraud, cheating or deception.

4. In the event the disqualification takes place after the announcement of winners, there will be no selection of replacement of the disqualified winner.
5. In the event of a disqualification after the Prize has been awarded, the Organizer reserves the right to demand for the return of the Prize or payment of its equivalent value from the disqualified Participant.

Prize Redemption

1. Organizer will fulfill the winners’ prize within 120 days after winners list is announced. The Organizer reserves the rights to extend the timelines stated under this clause owing to reasons beyond the Organizer’s control.
2. The Organizer, its agent, sponsor and representatives shall have no liability to any Participant who defaults in collecting the Prizes in accordance with the Prize redemption in any respect whatsoever. The Organizer reserves the right to determine how uncollected Prizes will be dealt with.
3. The Prizes are non- transferable, are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash or any other form or manner other than that specified by the Organizer.

Liabilities and Responsibilities

1. All ancillary costs associated with the receipt or use of the Prizes, whether direct or indirect, including without-limitation charges, expenses, taxes, costs, transportation, meals, insurance, visa, etc., are the sole responsibility of the participants.

2. The Organizer and its entities/agents assume no responsibility and shall not be held liable for any accident, harm, damage, losses (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or charges, injuries, unforeseen circumstance, and any inconvenience or any other liabilities of any nature whatsoever arising through participation of this Contest or in connection with the fulfillment of any prize, nor for any charges in dates or in times or cancellations which may prevent the selected winner(s) from taking the original prize offered or any part of the prize, or for lost or stolen prizes.

3. Participants shall release the Organizer and its respective divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, branches, directors, officers, employees and agents, as well as all others associated with the development and execution of this Contest, from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Contest and the awarding and use, misuse or possession of the prizes, including liability for any personal injury or death except where prohibited or limited by law.

Privacy Notice

We collect your personal information, such as your name, address, and contact particulars, to enable you to enter this Contest and for Contest related administration purposes. If you do not give us these details, you will not be able to enter this Contest. By entering this contest, you consent to the processing of your personal information as described in these Terms and Conditions. Rights of the Organizer

1. The Organizer reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Contest in the event of circumstances outside of its reasonable control.

2. The Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash. The Organizer reserves in its sole discretion to substitute the Prizes or any component of the Prizes should the selected Winner(s) fail to comply with any of the rules and/or applicable laws for any reason whatsoever.

3. The Organizer reserves the right to withdraw the Prizes should the selected winner(s) fail to comply with any terms or conditions of the Contest and/or applicable law for any reason whatsoever.

4. Acceptance of Prize(s) constitutes permission to the Organizer and its agencies to use the Winners’ names for purposes of publicity, advertising and/or marketing without further compensation or notice. All entries become property of the Organizer, who may use Winners’ names for future promotional and marketing activities.

5. By participating in this Contest, participants agree to be bound by the official terms and conditions and decisions of the Organizer.

6. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, annul or rescind the terms of the Contest without further notice. The Organizer’s decision on any matter concerning the contest is final with respect to any aspect of the contest, including the determination of the winner(s) or in any form. No challenges to the selection of winners will be entertained.

7. The Organizer and authorized agents will accept no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged or undelivered. Incomplete and/or illegible entries will be disqualified.

8. The Organizer’s decision is final. Any further correspondence will not be entertained.
