Moderate Acne Gel 5% 60g

BENZAC AC  (5%) BENZOYL PEROXIDE WATER BASED GEL  (60G)

INGREDIENTS:

» Active: Benzac AC 5: 5% w/w

» Inactive: Sodium Docusate, Disodium Edetate, Poloxamer 182, Carbomer 940, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates Copolymer, Glycerin, Silicon Dioxide, Sodium Hydroxide & Purified Water. May contain Citric Acid to adjust pH.

DIRECTIONS:

» Before each application, the skin should be cleaned and dried carefully.

» It is recommended to initiate the treatment with BPO 2.5% gel

» Apply thinly to affected areas once or twice daily or as directed by dermatologist.

PRECAUTIONS:

» Contra-indicated in patients with history of hyper-sensitivity to Benzoyl Peroxide or any of their components

» To test for sensitivity, apply to a small affected area once a day for two days

» A mild burning sensation will be felt on first application and some reddening and peeling of the skin within a few days

» This is not harmful and will normally subside within a day or two if treatment is temporarily discontinued

» If during treatment, irritation, redness, burning, itching or excessive drying or peeling occur, reduce dosage or frequency of use

» Discontinue if swelling and blistering occurs and if it persists, consult a doctor

» Keep away from eyes, eyelids, lips and mouth, nostrils or mucous membrane

» THIS PRODUCT MAY BLEACH HAIR OR DYED FABRICS

» Repeated exposure to sunlight or UV radiation should be avoided

» Due to risk of sensitization, BPO gel or lotion should not be applied on damaged skin

» If the medication is applied excessively, no more rapid or better results will be obtained and severe irritation might develop
