Q1.How do I earn points?
A1.For every RM1 worth of purchase, Members earn 1 point. There are also a wide selection of products which offer you bonus points in various amounts when you purchase them too.
Q2.Are points granted according to the total amount settled in each purchase or the aggregated amount of several purchases?
A2.Points earned are based on the total amount settled in each purchase. Accumulation of receipts for points issuance is not allowed. For example, if you spend RM8.50 for a certain purchase (8 points earned), and after the transaction is settled, you spend RM8.50 for another purchase (8 points earned), the total points accrued from the two purchases should be 16 rather than 17.
Q3.How could I use the points earned?
A3.Points can be redeemed in your next purchase at Watsons at the conversion rate of 200 points = RM1. You may also keep accumulating points through several purchases and redeem goods of higher value at a later time.
Q4.What products can I redeem with my points?
A4.Points accrued may be redeemed as cash equivalent in your next purchase of ANY item at Watsons stores.
Q5.Is there any requirement regarding the number of points to be used each time I want to redeem goods?
A5.Points must be redeemed in minimum blocks of 10points = RM0.05 with no maximum limit.
Q6.Is there a validity period for the points accrued?
A6.Beginning 1 Jan 2011, all points are valid till the end of the next calendar year from the issue date of the points. For example, points earned in October 2011 are valid through December 31, 2012, unless otherwise stated.
Q7.If the price for a certain product is RM10, how many points does it take for redemption? Can I convert the points accrued into cash and withdraw it from my account?
A7.It takes you 2000 points to redeem a product worth RM10 (200 points = RM1). No withdrawal of cash is allowed from your account.
Q8.If I want to buy a product priced at RM30 but there are only 200 points in my Watsons Card, can I redeem the product with these 200 points and pay the remaining amount in cash?
A8.Yes. You may use 200 points to redeem RM1 off your product and pay only RM29 for the product. You are allowed to use points as partial redemption of products at any time.
Q9.Are goods redeemed with points returnable?
A9.When the product redeemed with points is returned, the points deducted previously will not be refunded. Therefore, we suggest the option of exchanging it with another product of the same value.
Q10.If, for certain reason, I want to return the product I bought, will the points I have earned from that purchase be deducted from my account?
A10.(1) If you choose to exchange the product for goods of the same value, no deduction of points will be made. (2) If you choose to return the product, the points credited previously will be deducted from your account and you will receive a cash refund for your returned goods. (3) In cases when you want to return a product while there are insufficient points left in your member account for deduction, you are only allowed to exchange the product with goods of the same value. (4) In cases when you want to return a product redeemed wholly or partly with points, we highly suggest that you opt for exchanging the product for goods of the same value, since the deducted points will not be refunded.
Q11.If, for certain reason, I want to return the product I bought, how will the points I have earned from that purchase be deducted from my account?

A12.No. The Watsons Card is designated for individual use by the Card Member only.
Q13.How do I know how many points have been accumulated in my account?
A13. 1) The sales receipt you get from each purchase indicates clearly the previous balance of points, points deducted for the current purchase, points accrued from the current purchase and the balance of points for later use.
2) You may enquire at the cashier or use our in store price check machine by scanning your card there.
3) You may also log on to this website and access your Member Account for full details of you points and transactions too.
Q14.If I lose my Watsons Card and the points are used by others for product redemption, can I apply for compensation?
A14.You need to take good care of your Watsons Card. The best way to minimize your loss is to report the loss online immediately. If your Watsons Card is misappropriated by others with malicious intent before you file the loss report, Watsons will not be held responsible for loss of points.
Q15.If I fail to present my Watsons Card at the time of purchase, can I get the points re-credited to my account by presenting the receipt at a later time?

Q16.Is there a ceiling limit for the points accumulated in my account (for example, a maximum of 1000 bonus points. Will any surplus over that be deemed invalid for use)?

Q17.If my purchase contains products redeemed with points, will you issue a receipt for my purchase?
A17.Yes. We will still issue a receipt which will clearly state the full payment of the purchase or in part, using points.
Q18.If I make my purchase using Watsons’ vouchers or vouchers from credit cards (HSBC etc), will there be points credited to my account?

Q20.Can I use points to buy Watsons voucher?
Q21.Can I use points to buy another Watsons Card?
